Homework for media ( Not fully done)

Homework- The Film Industry

Production

Pre- Production
There are three stages of production which pre-production, production and finally post production. Pre production is when everything is identified, mise en scene, characters and other things. The script is written at this stage.

Production
This is when the film is carried out when all the filming. All the scenes would be planned out in the planned setting. The director would decide how many shots to take for a specific scene. Everything must be done correctly as it is impossible to go back.

Post-Production
This is mainly to do with editing, the person editing takes all the scenes and edits them and puts them together then the film is 'locked' so no further edits are able to be made.

The owners of the studio decide how the movies are published, this has impact on what movies are made as producers want to go studios that are famous so they can make more money on their films, this means that they may have to create a specific genre of a film just to be able to use a particular.

An independant film is a professional film production produced mostly or completely outside of the major film studio system.

Distribution

Distribution is the moment when a film is shared out to different consumers. Companies such as Fox Century distribute films.

  1. You MUST label your post! I have no idea who wrote this and therefore cannot give you any marks unless you label it.
